Born in North Carolina, Lisa Cohen received her early racing experience in the Blue Grass state of Kentucky. Lisa currently represents the interests of Sapphire Lodge Racing in Australia. She, along with her Assistant Trainer Oldrich Jiricka apprenticed to Group 1 Trainer Chris Waller.
Her American racing apprenticeship under the tutelage of American Hall of Fame Trainer Mr. Grover “Bud” Delp at Pimlico Racecourse, occurred during the brilliant racing career of “Spectacular Bid” – who is widely regarded as one
Of America’s greatest ever racehorses having won nine Group 1 races.

Raised in Europe, Oldrich grew up on his family farm handling foals and yearlings from a very early age. His wealth of experience and depth of knowledge handling horses has been passed on from generation to generation and is a valuable asset to the team.
